Awards and Accolades
What are CVEs? Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures are publicly disclosed computer system security flaws. Typically, security researchers find zero-day vulnerabilities, then disclose them to software vendors so that they can patch their product. Next, they will file a CVE request with MITRE (the organization that manages the CVE database). A CVE number will be reserved as you wait for the vendor to offer a patch. Once a patch has been released (or after a reasonable period of time), MITRE will publish the CVE to the public.
Although we aren’t full-time security researchers, RedLens InfoSec wants to ensure your systems are secure. As a result, we are continuously on the lookout for novel vulnerabilities during our engagements and will work with you and your vendors to ensure the mitigation of any discovered vulnerabilities through responsible disclosure.
