Free Student Password Security Training Module

For the third year in a row, CampusGuard is excited to offer a free online Student Training Module to help you promote Cybersecurity Awareness Month across campus to your student community!

Course Overview

This year’s module helps educate students by sharing best practices on:

  • Why Passwords Matter
  • Risks of Reused Passwords
  • How to Create Strong Passwords
  • Using Multi-Factor Authentication
  • Protecting Personal Information

This 10-minute, micro-training course is delivered as a SCORM content file that is easily uploaded to your Learning Management System (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.) and offered to students to help increase awareness and protect their digital identities.

Module Objectives

After this module, students will be able to:

  • Recognize the importance of password security
  • Evaluate the characteristics of a strong and secure password
  • Reiterate steps to protect your password
